Where is my template?

After purchase, download the PDF from your Etsy order (Purchases and reviews). Open it and click the copy link. Google asks you to Make a copy: confirm, and the planner opens in your own Google account.

Do I need a Google account?

Yes, a free one is enough. If you open the link while signed out, Google asks you to sign in first.

The link opens on my phone but nothing happens.

Making a copy works best in a web browser on a computer. On a phone, open the link in Chrome or Safari rather than the Etsy app. After the copy is made, you can use it in the Google Sheets app.

Using the planner

Where do I start?

Open the Start Here tab, then fill in Setup. Every other tab reads your names, date, currency and budget from there.

A cell shows a warning when I edit it.

Shaded cells calculate themselves. The warning is there so a formula is not overwritten by accident. Type in the white cells instead.

How do I plan with my partner?

Use Share at the top right of your copy and add their email. You both see every change at once.

Can I print it?

Yes. Pages laid out for printing include the checklist, guest list, budget, day-of timeline and packing list. Open the tab and use File → Print.

Does it work in Excel?

Not yet. The templates are built for Google Sheets.

Licence

Can I use it for my clients or resell it?

No. Templates are licensed for personal use only, and that includes altered copies. See the Terms of Use.
